Butterfly Kingdom’s: Monro’s Great Blessing was written to inspire children to reach for their dreams despite what may seem difficult. Many times, children are overlooked and assumed to have it easy when they really do not feel like this on the inside. Monro’s Great Blessing was written to encourage children in their times of difficulty (bullying, childhood illness, parental divorce, etc.) to keep the faith and remember that there is a brighter side to what may seem dark and difficult. As the reader reads the story of Monro, the author’s ultimate goal is to encourage the child, while learning valuable lessons.
