After living a new life as a result of Godly counseling, my heart’s desire was for others to experience spiritual healing and wholeness. I entered the counseling ministry at my church but as a psychologist, I also opened a private practice to see this vision come to fruition because I knew that not everyone was going to come to a church setting for counseling. One day, a client urged me to write about my counseling style. Her words were confirming to me because when I sought counseling for myself and family members, I could not find anyone who offered this sort of counseling. I have written this book so that counselors around the world can be comfortable and confident with infusing the Bible into their counseling practice. I pray that lives all around the world, many of whom I will never meet, will be healed, saved, delivered, and forever changed as a result of therapists giving faith-based counseling a try.
