The overall message for this book is to communicate the importance of maturity in local church leadership in hopes of mentoring and developing true disciples for Jesus Christ. The leaders establish and set the tone for the local congregations. Ministry is not confined within the four walls of the church building, but expanded throughout the community in schools, business and government. That is a picture of the mission field and the more mature we are as believers, the brighter our light shines within our communities.
